Holistic Healing Through Ayurveda
In Sanskrit, ojas is the essence of life—our inner strength, glow, and resilience.
“Ojaskara” means “that which creates or enhances ojas.”
This practice is devoted to cultivating ojas in body, mind, and spirit—so you can live with vitality, clarity, and peace.
At Ojaskara, you are guided back to wellness using the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda.
Whether you're seeking support for digestion, inflammation, anxiety, hormonal balance, rejuvenation, or seasonal transitions—my goal is to help you heal naturally and deeply.
VISION:
To create a sanctuary of compassionate Ayurvedic care where individuals are deeply seen, honored, educated and supported in restoring balance through personalized, ancient healing practices.
MISSION STATEMENT:
Helping you honor your body’s wisdom and reclaim your own healing power.
What Is Ayurveda?
Ayurveda translates to “The Science of Life”. It is one of the world’s oldest holistic healing sciences from India that teaches us how to live in alignment with our unique nature. Rather than offering a one-size-fits-all solution to health and wellbeing, Ayurveda recognizes that every person is born with a distinct constitution (Prakriti), a natural blueprint that determines how we digest, think, sleep, respond to stress, and move through the world.
At its core, Ayurveda aims to restore balance, enhance vitality, and remove what blocks us from thriving, physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
The Three Doshas
Ayurveda describes human nature through three organizing forces called doshas:
Vata – movement, breath, creativity, nerve impulses
Pitta – digestion,
metabolism,
transformation
Kapha – stability, nourishment, immunity, structure
Every person carries all three, but in different proportions. When your doshas are balanced according to your Prakriti, you feel grounded, energized, and clear. When they fall out of balance, symptoms appear, it’s your body’s way of asking for support.
Why Ayurveda Matters Today
Our modern lifestyle moves faster than our bodies and minds were designed to handle. Constant stress, processed food, overstimulation, and irregular routines create disturbances in the doshas, leading to:
fatigue
digestive issues
anxiety
hormonal imbalances
inflammation
sleep disturbances
emotional overwhelm
chronic conditions that don’t respond to conventional approaches
Ayurveda gives us tools to come back home to ourselves—through food, daily rhythm, herbal support, breath, movement, and understanding our inner patterns.
It teaches us not just how to heal, but how to stay well.
Why a Proper Ayurvedic Consultation Is Essential
Ayurveda treats the root cause, not just the symptoms.
A consultation gives us the time and space to deeply gain insight about:
your constitution (Prakriti)
your current imbalances (Vikriti)
digestive strength (Agni)
accumulation of toxins (Ama)
lifestyle patterns
emotional and mental stressors
sleep, routines, cycles, and environmental influences
Two people with the same symptom—like bloating, fatigue, weight gain, anxiety, or skin issues—may need completely opposite treatments. Ayurveda refuses to guess. It listens.
Through a proper consultation, I can create a plan that is:
Individualized
Sustainable
Digestive-focused
Root-oriented
Supportive to your whole being
This is how true healing happens.

About Me:
Lorena Harting ~
Ayurvedic Practitioner
I’ll never forget the moment I found Ayurveda. I was a new mother, navigating the overwhelm of hormonal imbalance, exhaustion, and the deep need for something more than just surface-level wellness. In my search for healing, my mother handed me a well-loved herbal remedy book. Nestled inside was a brief mention of an ancient healing system I had never heard of before—Ayurveda.
Just three paragraphs in, something lit up inside me. I felt like I had stumbled upon the wisdom I had been searching for—not only for my own healing but for the healing of others. I was ready to announce to the world that I had found the answers. That was over sixteen years ago, and it’s been my calling ever since.
Today, I am honored to serve as an Ayurvedic Practitioner with over two years of clinical practice and a deep personal history with this tradition. My approach is intuitive yet rooted in the classical Ayurvedic texts. I specialize in helping clients reconnect with their inner vitality through, diet & herbs, seasonal routines, therapeutic bodywork, and the sacred daily rituals that bring balance to modern life.
Ayurveda has taught me that true healing begins with listening—to our bodies, to nature, and to our deeper knowing. I am here to support you in that remembering.
